First Major Update


New Areas:

  • Mountain: a normal 3 stage area
  • Velum's Labyrinth: a 10-man challenge to clear progressively harder levels. Try and see how many floors your adventurers can clear! The strongest equipment is found within.

Game Saving Implemented!

  • The game now saves automatically as you're playing. It will load the last state as long as you play within the same browser. The game save can be cleared from the start menu if you wish to start over from the beginning.

Auto Buttons:

  • AUTO-SELL: The tedious task of manually selling items to customers can now be done automatically. You can choose to sell a specific quality item or less while refusing higher quality items. This allows you to focus more on your adventurers while still earning gold.
  • AUTO-EQUIP: You can auto-equip the best-in-slot items for an adventurer. This was implemented for quality of life after I was play testing and getting a cramp in my mouse hand from trying to manage the best gear for 10-15 hired adventurers.

Items:

  • A new tier of item quality, Artifact , has been added to the game. This included 3 sets of armor and 4 weapons which can only be obtained in Velum's Labyrinth.
  • All new icons for all items so the game has a more unified look to it. 
  • Provision crafting was removed since their purpose was never implemented, and crafting them was a waste of time.
  • TOOLTIPS added for mousing over items within the item bag and in the list of available items in the equip menu in the tavern.
  • Items now stack within the available equipment list, making it more visually pleasing and easier to navigate.

MISC:

  • Balanced progression a bit differently after doing a lot of math and playing with spreadsheets.
  • The message window can now be expanded to see more than just the last 5 messages. (Now up to 25 when expanded.)
  • The message window now reflects the color of the quality of item received when opening the reward chest.
